A Chinese AI search and research workspace that organizes answers around sources, with multiple search scopes and daily free credits subject to current service rules.
Metaso is a Chinese AI search product for finding and organizing information around a question. Its public interface offers general web and specialist scopes, alongside concise, deeper and research-oriented response modes. It is useful when the task requires sources and synthesis rather than only a fluent standalone answer.
The value of a research assistant depends on the evidence it finds and how accurately it represents it. Treat a generated answer as a map of useful material: inspect the original pages, check dates and distinguish direct evidence from interpretation. A citation next to a sentence is a starting point for review, not proof that the source supports every word.

Example prompt or task: Research this topic using sources published in the last six months. Make a table of claim, original source, publication date and uncertainty. Separate direct evidence from commentary and leave unsupported claims unconfirmed.
This editorial prompt is intended to make review easier. It does not guarantee complete retrieval or accurate citation placement.
The service terms describe daily free credits; API and media services have separate terms.
The official service terms describe free credits refreshed each day for ordinary users. Daily credits are valid for that day, unused amounts do not roll over, and the next day starts a new daily allowance. The exact allowance and applicable service scope can change under the published rules.
The terms distinguish daily free credits from longer-term credits obtained through other mechanisms, including purchases. Optional paid services, media generation and API access must be checked on their own pages. Do not infer that a visible free search entry includes unlimited research, every model or free developer usage.
There is an ongoing daily-credit route described in its terms, alongside paid options. Check the current amount and eligible functions.
The terms say daily free credits are valid that day and do not carry forward. Other credit pools can have different rules.
Do not assume a fixed cost. Check the selected mode and current account interface before starting.
No automatic guarantee follows from displaying a link. Open the source and check that it supports the associated claim.
The official source-preference page provides controls for preferred or excluded sources. Remember that these settings affect the evidence retrieved.
No. Search results do not imply full-text rights or access to every publisher.
This profile does not establish that. Their pricing and limits should be reviewed separately.
Explore platforms, inputs and outputs, licensing, and access requirements.
Metaso runs as a hosted web service, with an official browser-search setup guide for users who want a convenient search entry. Using it as a browser search provider does not turn it into a local inference engine; submitted questions still use the hosted service.
Search answers may draw on public third-party pages and user-provided material. Some sources are inaccessible, outdated or incomplete, and a document result may expose only an abstract or preview. Keep those limitations visible in your final brief instead of implying you reviewed material you could not open.
Questions and uploads are processed under the service terms and applicable data policies. Use material you are permitted to submit, and avoid including personal information that is not needed to answer the research question.
Metaso publishes an AI-generated content notice. Preserve appropriate context when sharing generated summaries or images, and distinguish your own review from the original source material. A useful research record includes both the answer and the evidence used to evaluate it.
