What is WorkBuddy?
WorkBuddy is Tencent’s AI workspace for office work, development and design. Describe a task in everyday language and it can plan the steps, use tools and work with files to produce a result you can review.
Tasks to try
- Research and reports: gather material around a topic, organize comparisons and prepare a report or presentation.
- Spreadsheets and documents: analyze supplied business data, summarize findings and prepare weekly reports or meeting summaries.
- File processing: read and write files within an authorized local folder, organize material and perform batch operations.
- Application creation: build web applications with supported database, storage, sign-in and AI capabilities, then use the available publishing workflow.
Experts, Skills and collaboration
Choose a domain expert for a focused task or use Skills to add capabilities. More complex projects can involve several agents working in parallel. Teams can reuse configured experts, Skills and connectors through project spaces.
Connected tools and cloud work
WorkBuddy connects with Tencent’s office ecosystem, including documents, email, meetings and knowledge sources. Available connections differ by account and edition. Cloud assistants can continue assigned cloud work after the client closes; access to local files remains a separate workflow. Check where the task runs and where its output will be saved.
Start with one deliverable
Provide the source files, intended audience, output format and completion criteria. For a weekly report, supply the project updates and ask for completed work, open issues and next steps. Review the first result, correct missing context and refine the task before expanding it.
