Topaz Photo
Image & designDenoise, sharpen, upscale and repair photographs through a desktop application or supported editing plugin. Topaz Photo combines several enhancement tools with local and cloud rendering options.
An image-to-3D system with separate shape and PBR material generation stages, downloadable weights and a local interface for technical artists who can manage GPU deployment.
Hunyuan3D 2.1 turns an input image into a starting point for a three-dimensional asset. Its pipeline separates shape generation from material synthesis, which is useful because attractive textures can hide a poor mesh in a single preview. Evaluate both stages before importing an asset into a game, product mock-up or other scene.
This page describes the downloadable 2.1 release. The hosted Hunyuan3D Studio and other Hunyuan releases may expose different features or pricing. Local use suits people comfortable with Python environments, GPU dependencies and ordinary 3D cleanup. It is less suitable for someone expecting a production-ready, rigged object from every image with no review.

This is an editorial workflow suggestion, not a claim that the system guarantees watertight geometry, rigging or ready-to-print output.
The downloadable release has a royalty-free route for eligible users. This is not a promise of free unlimited Hunyuan3D Studio access.
The Hunyuan3D 2.1 agreement offers a royalty-free route within specified conditions. It excludes the European Union, United Kingdom and South Korea and includes restrictions on outputs and distribution. It should not be described as unrestricted MIT or Apache licensing.
Its scale clause requires a separate license for qualifying organizations above one million monthly active users under the agreement’s definition. Hardware is separate: the README reports 10 GB VRAM for shape, 21 GB for texture and 29 GB for the combined process. Hosted services have their own access and pricing.
Eligible self-hosted use of the released model under its community agreement.
This page makes no such promise; website terms are separate.
No. Unseen geometry is inferred and needs inspection.
No. Test the output with your renderer and lighting.
Not automatically. Check watertightness, thickness and scale.
No. Do not assume a generated mesh includes a usable rig.
No. Territory, scale and distribution requirements need review.

The README lists Windows, Linux and macOS, while its tested setup uses Python and a CUDA-oriented PyTorch environment. Platform support does not mean every device can run the full pipeline with identical installation steps or memory use.
The local interface includes a low-VRAM option, but do not treat that flag as a universal minimum-hardware guarantee. Rasterizer and rendering dependencies need attention. A successful preview still requires checking the asset in the actual downstream application.
A local installation can keep reference images in your environment, but hosted demos and cloud machines operate under separate data policies. Check where temporary meshes, textures and previews are stored.
Use images and designs you have permission to process. Generating a three-dimensional interpretation does not remove rights attached to a product, character or brand, and the model agreement remains relevant to deployment and distribution.
