JetBrains Junie
CodingJunie combines a coding agent with planning, model choice and JetBrains development workflows. Use the CLI, supported IDE integration or repository automation to work on scoped code changes.
A browser-based AI builder that turns a written brief into websites and applications, with code, preview and hosting in one workflow. The ongoing free plan is useful for small prototypes within daily and monthly token limits.
Bolt.new is designed to shorten the distance between describing a web product and seeing a working version in the browser. It can help a product owner express a layout, explore an interaction or assemble the initial pages of an application without beginning with a blank local development environment. The resulting project still contains software that needs to be understood and maintained.
It works best with a concrete brief: who the user is, what they should accomplish, which information appears on screen and what happens when something goes wrong. A smaller complete flow is more valuable than a visually impressive shell with nonfunctional buttons. Treat the first version as a prototype whose assumptions can be tested, not as evidence that a production system is finished.

Example prompt or task: Build a small reading-list app with three screens: list, add item and item detail. Use sample data initially. Include search, an empty state and a mobile layout. First explain the storage choice and the smallest complete implementation.
The workflow is editorial guidance, not a measured product test.
Free plan: 300,000 tokens per day subject to an overall 1 million tokens per month, with no free rollover. Includes branded website hosting under plan limits. Custom domains, higher capacity, premium agents and external services may require payment.
The current Free plan lists a 300,000-token daily limit within a total allowance of 1 million tokens per month. The two limits apply together; they are not added into a larger monthly entitlement. Free tokens do not roll over, and the documented monthly reset is the first day of the calendar month.
Free hosting carries Bolt branding and plan capacity limits. The pricing page places custom domains and higher capacities in paid plans. External services can also introduce their own charges, so the practical cost of an application includes more than the tokens used to create its first screen.
Yes. It has an ongoing plan with daily and monthly token limits.
No. The separate 1 million monthly cap also applies.
No. The documented free allowance does not accumulate.
No. Branding removal is listed on paid plans.
The current pricing page lists custom-domain support as a paid feature.
No. Review behavior, access controls and operational requirements.
The documented Code view supports direct edits without a generation request.

Bolt's workspace is accessed through the browser. The supported development stack and integration route should be checked against the current documentation before attempting to reproduce an existing application. A web prototype does not automatically become a native mobile binary or support every server runtime.
Token consumption includes project context, not only the short sentence typed into chat. Keep the scope of a correction clear, avoid repeatedly sending unrelated material and use direct editing for changes you can confidently make yourself. A smaller project is usually easier to understand, review and hand over.
Keep secrets out of prompts and frontend source files. An API key embedded in browser-delivered code can be exposed to visitors, even if the project itself began as a private experiment. Use the appropriate server-side secret mechanism for the chosen integration.
Before connecting business data, review hosting access, database rules and the permissions of each connector. Use fictional sample records while exploring the interface, then introduce real data only after the intended read and write boundaries are understood.
