Musk’s latest Grok Bot post made me pause: he explicitly names Claude Opus 5.5, MidJourney and Suno. The post shows October 7, 2026, at 14:46.
He says SpaceX will choose the best backend model for each task, including those models and other leading APIs. The stated priority is whichever option is most likely to deliver a better outcome for the user.
What I find interesting is the focus on the finished task. Someone who wants code, an image or music may not want to research models before choosing which product to open.
I would try a bot that handles that choice well. My questions would be whether it selects sensibly, connects the steps smoothly and produces a result worth the time and cost. Listing model names is the beginning; finishing the whole task is what matters to me.
