Taskade Genesis product overview ↗
Describe a small business tool and build a hosted Taskade Genesis app connected to projects, agents and automations. Its credits pay for AI creation, while existing published apps continue running after the balance is exhausted.
Taskade has moved beyond a conventional task list. Its current Genesis product creates hosted apps such as dashboards, client portals, forms and internal tools from a prompt. The app can draw on projects, AI agents and automations in the workspace. This makes it attractive when a team wants a usable interface around an existing process without first building a custom web application from scratch. The generated result still needs product ownership: someone must define data fields, permissions, validation, error handling and who maintains the workflow after launch.
The best evaluation is a bounded process. For example, build a simple request tracker with a form, status list and owner field. Ask Taskade to generate only those three elements, then submit a test request, change its status and check whether another workspace member sees the correct view. Only after the core path works should you connect email, CRM, payment or other external services. A compelling screenshot of an app is not proof that its underlying data and automation behave correctly.
Taskade's current pricing distinguishes free app count from AI generation credits. Its Free plan allows up to three Genesis apps and two users, with 11,000 one-time AI credits: 1,000 after verification and 10,000 on the first app build. Those credits do not renew monthly. Paid Pro includes 50,000 credits each month and unlimited apps and agents. Credits fund app generation, agent activity and AI steps in automations; the same prompt can cost more when the agent has to read a large evolving build. This distinction is central to planning a repeatable workflow.

Describe the users, fields, pages and result you need. Taskade creates an initial live application; then test each screen as a user rather than accepting the generated layout at face value.
Genesis apps relate to projects, agents and automations in the same workspace. Map which project holds the source of truth so a form does not create confusing duplicate records.
Build task-oriented agents and choose an available model according to the plan. Start with a narrow job, a clear handoff and a way to inspect its output before allowing it to act on important records.
Connect triggers and actions with branching, filters and scheduled runs where available. Use a test workspace and idempotent sample data before turning a recurring workflow on.
Share a hosted app with the right audience and invite teammates to build together. Published apps continue serving visitors after AI credits run out, but new AI generation pauses until credits are available.

Run end-to-end tests
Add agents and integrations carefully
Write the user, trigger, required fields and successful result. Exclude optional integrations from the first prompt.
Build one or two pages and inspect the data model and access settings. Watch the live credit balance rather than guessing a fixed cost per app.
Create, update and close a sample record using different roles. Check validation, duplicates and the state after refreshing the page.
Connect one external service at a time, define failure and retry behavior, and monitor AI-credit use during the pilot.
Pricing checked on October 7, 2026. See plan details below.
The official October 2026 pricing page lists Free at $0 per month with two users, up to three apps and 11,000 one-time AI credits. The credit grant is split between account verification and the first app build; it does not reset each month. The Free plan has one agent and ten automation runs per month in the current comparison. It is suitable for a pilot, but a team should not mistake one-time trial credits for continuing production capacity.
The current yearly-billing view displays Pro at $10 per month with ten users included, 50,000 credits each month, unlimited apps and agents, and more automation capacity. Business lists 150,000 monthly credits plus controls such as custom domains and SAML SSO. Taskade says published apps, projects and non-AI operations keep working after AI credits are exhausted; a build stops when its balance is spent. Verify the billing period and plan details in the checkout, because a low monthly equivalent can reflect annual prepayment.
No. The current pricing page describes 11,000 one-time credits split between verification and first build.
Taskade says existing apps continue serving visitors; new AI generation stops until more credits are available.
The current plan lists up to three Genesis apps.
No. Test access, validation, errors and integration permissions before real data or customers are involved.
No. Credits depend on work performed, and longer complex builds can use much more than a short edit.
Try a small request tracker with a form, status and owner, then run one record end to end.

Taskade is a proprietary hosted platform. The generated app is an operational interface tied to workspace data, not a one-off image mockup. AI models, integrations and hosting features vary by plan. In particular, premium third-party connectors and custom domains require paid tiers. Define a person responsible for data quality and external actions before deploying an agent that can contact customers or edit production records.
Review workspace membership, app publication settings and every connector permission. A prompt can cause the generated app to expose fields you did not intend, so test it with a low-privilege account. For integrations that send mail or change external systems, use test data first and inspect logs and retry behavior. Consult Taskade security and privacy terms for organizational requirements rather than assuming generated apps inherit your existing system controls.
