Public articles, tool introductions and guides can be read without an account. This page explains the information used when you browse, sign in or contact us.
Email verification and reader accounts
When you request a sign-in code, we use your email address to deliver it. A successful first sign-in creates an ordinary reader account. This does not subscribe you to marketing email. Codes and account notices are sent from info@findgoodai.com; replies and support requests go to support@findgoodai.com.
Codes and abuse prevention
A code expires after 10 minutes. We store a keyed hash of the code rather than its plaintext value, and limit requests and attempts. A browser identifier and hashed IP information help prevent abuse. Expired verification and rate-limit records are removed by scheduled cleanup. Your account stores its email address and account creation and verification timestamps.
Sign-in cookies and account deletion
Secure cookies maintain your session. Choosing to remember the sign-in can keep it for up to 14 days. Signing out ends the current device's session. To request account deletion, email support@findgoodai.com; we may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request.
Site analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and improve the website. Google may use cookies and process browser, device and page-visit information according to its policies. We do not load analytics on the account page or send email addresses or verification codes as analytics events. See Google's Privacy Policy at Google Privacy Policy and its explanation of partner-site data at Google partner-site data policy.
Account bookmarks, comments and ratings
When you save a tool, we store the tool and your account identifier so your collection can synchronize across devices. Your saved-tool list is private. Signed-in users can also submit comments and a one-to-five-star rating; we store the content, rating and timestamps with the account. Published comments display your public name, not your email address; ratings are displayed as aggregate results. WordPress also records the IP address and browser information submitted with comments for moderation. You can cancel bookmarks, change or withdraw ratings, and edit or delete your own comments. Deleted comments enter the moderation trash rather than remaining publicly visible. Contact support@findgoodai.com for account-data requests. Earlier browser-only bookmarks are not automatically uploaded to your account.
Messages and external websites
A contact or recommendation email is sent through your own mail application after you confirm it. We use the information you provide to respond and review the request. Linked tools, courses and other websites have their own accounts, cookies and privacy policies.
Operations and updates
Website and mail service logs support delivery, reliability and abuse prevention. Account requests use HTTPS and POST requests; email addresses and codes are not placed in page query strings by the sign-in flow. We may update this notice as the service changes. For privacy questions, contact support@findgoodai.com.
Logo preference poll
Since October 1, 2026, this website offers a public preference poll for four logos. When you participate, a random browser identifier cookie (__Host-fga_logo_voter), valid for one year, remembers your browser’s choice. The server stores a keyed hash of this identifier, the selected option and voting timestamps. Changing your choice updates your existing vote. Public pages show only aggregate counts. Voting does not require a name, email address or account.
To limit repeated requests, the server uses a hashed, short-lived network identifier. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the voting table. Expired rate-limit records are removed when the daily cleanup task runs. Clearing cookies or switching browsers can create a new participant identity, so the counts represent browser choices rather than verified individuals. You may decline the voting cookie and continue browsing; voting is unavailable when that cookie is blocked.
Voting records are retained while this round of feedback and its results are reviewed. We will review retention after voting ends. To ask about or delete the choice associated with your current browser, contact support@findgoodai.com. Do not share browser cookies publicly.
First-party visitor statistics
We record public page visits, IP addresses, approximate country, browser user agent, operating system, device category and screen/viewport size for site analytics. We store a random browser identifier in local storage and save only a keyed hash on the server. Page query strings, account details and payment fields are excluded. Online visit detail covers the current and previous calendar month; older detail is moved to restricted monthly archives while daily aggregates remain available. Reports are restricted to administrators. IP geolocation and device detection are approximate. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals disable this first-party collector. Contact support@findgoodai.com for data requests.
Paid submissions and payments
We store submitted content, order references, amounts, payment states and review records linked to your account to process submissions, reconcile payments and provide support. PayPal handles payment; we do not store card numbers or PayPal passwords. Approved content is public; order records are available only to you and administrators. Contact support@findgoodai.com for access or deletion requests, subject to transaction retention requirements.
